Torn Stars (formerly Epic: Middle States) is a new and epic space simulation set in the war torn and ravaged Middle States star cluster. Live a second life traveling and plying the space lanes with a fleet of transports, preying on fat and rich merchant transports as a pirate, exploring l-points and undiscovered star systems, or even laying claims and searching out mineral-rich asteroids. Do all this and much more whilst avoiding the myriad hazards and threats of the shattered Middle States empires. The sights, sounds, adventures and danger of Torn Stars await you! The wait is finally over. Torn Stars has been released and is available for download now. Initially released as the Epic: Middle States total conversion for I-war 2, Torn Stars now forms the platform for the development and expansion of the Torn Stars game and game universe. Torn Stars introduces the Middle States, a war torn and strife riven star cluster clinging tenaciously to the young and powerful stars of the 'Tian Damen' nebula. The game is completely freeform, allowing the player to follow their own destiny and career path, including that of a merchant trader or pirate. Unstable Space is a content expansion for Torn Stars. It adds hidden jump routes to the Middle States cluster. These unstable jump routes may allow you to sneak past Customs Patrols and Pirates, but they can be very risky and can damage or even destroy your ships. |
